Delicous mackerel rillettes prepared by Conserverie Courtin in the fishing port of Concarneau in Southern Brittany.
These mackerel rillettes are seasoned with just a hint of mustard.
Presented in easy to open 130g tins (one tin serves two as a starter or on as a light main).
Very enjoyable served on toast and works well on canapes – you can also serve it on fresh chicory leaves.
Best served cool and a few drops of lime juice do not go amiss!
