The delicatessen’s plans over this period
Our opening hours are currently Wednesday – Saturday, 9.30am – 3pm.
We are closing the delicatessen until the national lockdown is lifted, however we are still baking regularly and you can still buy any of the delicatessen’s products on the online delicatessen shop for home delivery. You are also able to select Click & Collect in the delivery options and message us to arrange a No Contact collection.
Please follow us on social media @withiesdeli to keep up with the latest developments.
We would like this opportunity to thank you for your understanding and continued support.
We have been following government guidelines of no more than two customers in the shop at any one time, and requesting that people retain a distance of 2m apart.
We are regularly disinfecting the door handles, card machine, and surfaces. We have also removed the bulk buy / plastic-free section, but have many of the items such as flour still available on request, just ask!
We have erected Covid Barriers and built a special No Contact till section. We ask that you follow government guidelines and wear a mask in the shop if you do not have a medical condition that precludes this.
We hold a five-star hygiene rating so as always we are washing our hands between each customer and disinfecting surfaces at regular intervals.
Yes, the easiest way to do this is to place an order through the website and pay with paypal, a bank transfer or your credit/debit card.
If this is not possible we can arrange to meet and accept contactless payments. We are disinfecting the card reader between uses and can also break each order down into sub-£30 payments if necessary.
We are happy to deliver a weekly bread box within a five-mile radius of the deli. We are also happy to deliver to drop-off points and to work with other retailers to ensure that you get the goods that you are after.
Furthermore we are working with Taunton Independent Market to deliver bread, cheese and other deli treats to Taunton, Wellington, Wiveliscombe, North Petherton, Bridgwater, Ilminster & everywhere in between.
Yes, if you are having bread delivered weekly, say on a Monday and a Friday, you can add any of the items we have on the website such as cheese, wine or cider, simply by putting them through as a normal website order.
You can buy a gift card on this website which will arrive in their inbox either instantly or at a date of your choosing. They will then be able to come in and use it in the shop or use it in our online delicatessen to order some food for delivery, even a regular weekly bread box!
