Fast Acting Instant Bread Yeast
Used for yeast leavened baked goods such as bread, doughnuts and pancakes.
How to use fast acting instant bread yeast
There is no knead 😉 to activate this yeast before use – just pour it in with your flour and salt and carry on as usual.
1000g strong bread flour
650g water
20g salt
20g fast acting instant bread yeast
Mix together and knead with your preferred method. Let the dough rise at room temp for appx 1 hour, then divide and use as intended.

I think this yeast is brilliant. Before lockdown I always bought the little sachets in a box from the supermarket. Then Covid happened and I was searching high and low for baking supplies and the Withies was recommended. I was pleasantly surprised at what they had available but the serendipity was this yeast that gives very good results. I was starting to think it was my old breadmaker but no, back to normal with perfect results. I also buy the bread flour from here.
